Intruder detection systems monitor and recognize unauthorized access to specific areas. Timely signaling eliminates potential damage.  Systems usually consist of the control panel, keypads, I/O modules and detectors.

Access Control Systems secure limited access to specific areas based on defined permissions. Users identify themselves using a card, a keyfob or one of the biometric principles. After verification, the system enables an authorized user to open doors, pass through a barrier or a turnstile.

CCTV is an abbreviatio for Closed-curcuit television. Nowadays, you are more likely to come accross IP Camera System or IP CCTV. These systems serve for visual control of the specific space. They usually consist of cameras (analog or IP), transmission lines (coaxial or data cable), recorder, monitor and control peripherals.

Building automation systems aim to create fully automated data exchange between building systems. They create connections between systems that control lighting, energy management, air conditioning or heating. This way, automation contributes to the more effective building functioning.

Perimeter Security Systems ensure protection of the external borders of the area of interest. They consist of optical, microwave or seismic sensors. Detection can be done in open space, on a fence or a barrier, or by installing the system directly into the ground.

Wireless systems are designed to secure high-risk buildings that require wirless communication in addition to conventional detector connections. The most frequent cases are museums or historical buildings where wireless connection does minimum damage to the interior.

It is a U-shaped metal bar. In case of Dominus3, the DIN rail contains an integrated H-BUS bus that connects the control panel module with the expansion modules.

Bus is a group of signal wires that serve to transmit data between electronic devices. The data transfer is realized by a protocol that acts as a communication standard between the connected modules.

ADN is the propietary communication protocol of the Dominus3 system bus. In regard to the requirements of the highest security standards, bus communication is encrypted.

In case of Dominus3, one-wire bus is used when it is neccessary to connect a system via single signal wire. These are mostly the devices used for temperature measurement.
